You will reproduce reported issues, craft precise Linear tickets, and respond quickly in our support channel, while helping triage and verify fixes during rapid release cycles.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA or software testing experience.
• Customer support experience in a ticketing system (e.g., Pylon, Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk).
• A tax background in a tax firm, tax software company, or preparing returns.
• Familiarity with major tax platforms (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect, Drake, GoSystem).
• Bonus if you've used Linear or Jira, browser dev tools, or screen recording.

Responsibilities

• Reproducing customer-reported issues step by step, inside Filed and the tax software firms already use.
• Writing clear, complete Linear tickets with exact steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots and sample data.
• Answering customer tickets quickly and clearly in our support inbox.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and finding workarounds that keep firms moving.
• Verifying fixes before they go back to the customer, and regression testing after releases.
• Spotting patterns across tickets and flagging them before they spread.
