Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for auditing engineering specifications and packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and customer standard compliance.

The role supports TL 9000 metrics and surveillance audits, reporting to the Services Quality Leader, and is 100% remote. The incumbent will maintain CoPQ tracking, prepare audit summaries and dashboards, and drive corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in telecom industry requirements including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management, etc.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (TL9000/ISO 9001).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with objective audit evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive corrections.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, and changes) for compliance with requirements.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track Cost of Quality metrics and support corrective actions to reduce costs and improve satisfaction.
• Identify gaps and initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and reporting to stakeholders.
• Assist internal surveillance audits with evidence gathering and closures.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards to communicate issues and improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention and confidentiality requirements.
