OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages for accuracy and compliance in a remote role. This position will report to the Services Quality Leader and supports TL 9000 metrics and surveillance audits.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Operations to implement corrective actions and ensure customer requirements are met, with strong emphasis on documentation and version control.

Competenze

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in telecom industry requirements including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management, etc.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (e.g., TL9000/ISO 9001).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document clear audit evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction/closure.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes, deviations) for compliance with requirements and procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality (CoPQ) metrics and support corrective actions to reduce quality costs and improve satisfaction.
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting for service categories.
• Prepare internal surveillance audits with checklists, evidence gathering, interviews, results, and closure of actions.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues for process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per confidentiality and customer requirements.
