Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packaging to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards.

This role will maintain Cost of Quality tracking across quotation, engineering, execution and material, and support TL 9000 metric collection. Reporting to the Services Quality Leader, the position is 100% remote and requires a hands-on approach to verify records, drive corrective actions, and participate in internal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• About 5 years in telecom industry requirements incl. DC power installation/engineering.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards and contractual deliverables.
• Proficient with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoPQ calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; document audit evidence and findings.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.
• Understanding of CoPQ categories and basic cost accounting concepts.
• Experience with internal or customer audits in manufacturing, repair, or service environments.
• Certification or training in internal auditing.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Audit engineering packages to verify compliance with requirements and procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe, compliant practices.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements, released docs, and service deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and assist in corrective actions with quotations and execution teams.
• Initiate corrective actions and partner with Engineering, Quality, PM and Ops to prevent recurrence.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and audits with evidence gathering and tracking of actions.
• Communicate recurring issues and propose process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence with proper confidentiality.
