Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to customer standards. The role supports TL 9000 metric collection and internal surveillance audits, with 100% remote work.

You will maintain Cost of Quality tracking across quotation, engineering, execution and material; collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management and Operations to drive corrective actions and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (TL9000/ISO 9001).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction/closure.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes) for compliance.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and communicate to quotations, engineering and execution teams.
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting for applicable service categories.
• Assist internal surveillance audits by preparing checklists and tracking corrective actions.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence in line with retention and confidentiality requirements.
