Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer standards. This role supports CoPQ tracking and TL 9000 metrics and works within cross-functional teams to drive improvements.

The position is 100% remote in the United States, reporting to the Services Quality Leader. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of telecom industry experience including DC power installation/engineering and project management.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of TL 9000/ISO 9001 concepts and internal auditing.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and contractual deliverables.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoQ calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction/closure.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes, deviations) to verify compliance with customer requirements.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages to ensure safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements, released engineering documentation, and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality metrics and communicate to quotations, engineering and execution teams to drive corrective actions.
• Identify gaps, errors, and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting; provide inputs to stakeholders.
• Prepare audit checklists, gather evidence, conduct interviews, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence in accordance with retention and confidentiality requirements.
