Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Performance Engineer II to oversee daily operations for active PV projects. The role offers remote or hybrid work with office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR. You will analyze data, generate reports, and support fleet optimization.

Responsibilities include onboarding projects, coordinating with OEMs and field teams, and maintaining performance models. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in PV Performance Engineering and PV data analytics.
• Experience with PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM, and similar tools.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and programming exposure (Python, VBA, MATLAB).
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities on active projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect data, create reports, and deliverables.
• On-board active projects into internal Performance Team platforms.
• Track issues and optimize fleet performance with engineers & analysts.
• Lead coordination of operational activities and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain PV system energy models and performance reports.
