Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Analyst, Pursuit Operations to support planning, coordination, and execution of complex business development pursuits and proposal activities. This role maintains pursuit readiness by managing schedules, trackers, milestone calendars, and status reporting.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with proposal, pricing, operations, sales, and other teams while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience required.
Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal activities.
Strong attention to detail and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

Maintain schedules, trackers, and workstream coordination materials for pursuit readiness.
Manage workplans, action-item logs, decision trackers, and milestone calendars.
Track owner assignments, due dates, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
Monitor milestones, flag schedule risks, and escalate barriers.
Coordinate questions, meetings, reminders across writing, pricing, operations, sales, and proposals.
Prepare concise status updates on progress, deadlines, risks, decisions, and next steps.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to summarize updates and improve tracking and follow-up.
