Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for bidding, managing, and negotiating all contracts for home renovations. This fully remote position requires 5+ years of purchasing experience in the home building and remodeling sector and a Bachelor’s Degree. You will oversee contracts, manage budgets, and recruit new contractors. Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Ability to speak some Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, track project budgets.
• Negotiate costs and source products to improve quality.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for renovation jobs.
• Manage and recruit general contractors and subcontractors.

Skills

5+ years of purchasing experience

Understanding of contracting

Negotiation skills

Spanish language skills (nice to have)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
