Job summary

Zillow Home Loans is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate and manage purchase mortgages for customers referred through Zillow’s ecosystem. You may operate in a high-volume, digital environment or a relationship-based market model, with a focus on responsiveness, execution, and performance in a metrics-driven setup.

You will guide borrowers from initial contact through funding, using Zillow’s CRM/LOS, while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering a best-in-class customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience focused on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component.
• Located within 75 miles of Scottsdale, AZ, or willing to relocate/commute as needed.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application to closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow's CRM and LOS to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends and lending programs to provide tailored financing solutions.
• Maintain active licensing and ongoing professional development.
• This role involves collection and use of voiceprints for compliance purposes.
