Job summary

Zillow Home Loans is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate purchase loans for borrowers introduced through Zillow. You may work in a high-volume, digitally driven environment or a relationship-based model, with a focus on responsiveness, execution and performance in a metrics-driven setting.

You will guide borrowers from first contact through funding, maintaining a best-in-class customer experience, while staying current on lending programs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator test and CORE Pre-Licensing Education.
• Located within 75 miles of our Washington DC branch or willing to work remotely within US.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up.
• Build relationships with customers and with Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline and meet service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health.
