Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. seeks a remote Mortgage Loan Officer in Virginia to originate purchase loans within Zillow's ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from first contact through closing, using CRM/LOS tools and a consultative, results-driven approach.

The role blends high-volume digital work with market-based relationship building, supported by Zillow’s scale and brand. You’ll stay current on lending programs and regulations, maintain licensing, and collaborate with centralized teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience focused on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Virginia.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in a high-volume or referral model.
• Strong client service, KPIs, and structured performance mindset.
• Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application to closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers, agents, and local partners.
• Maintain an active pipeline with service level and funding metrics.
• Leverage Zillow CRM/LOS tools to manage pipeline and engagement.
• Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
