Job summary

Zillow Group is hiring a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers in Zillow’s ecosystem. You may operate in a high-volume digital setting or a relationship-based model, driven by responsiveness and performance in a metrics-driven organization.

The role involves remote work with a Texas-based principal residence, with potential time at a company office. Eligible for equity awards and incentive compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience focusing on purchase transactions.
• Active NMLS license or license under a federal bank framework.
• Completion of CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE MLO test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Texas.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up.
• Build relationships with customers and with Zillow agents/partners.
• Manage an active pipeline and meet service and funding metrics.
• Leverage Zillow CRM/LOS and data tools to manage engagement.
• Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams.
