Job summary

Zillow Home Loans, part of Zillow Group, is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for borrowers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You may operate in either a high-volume, digitally driven environment or a relationship-based, market-focused model, delivering responsive, metrics-driven performance.

Role offers remote work with a defined principal residence in Georgia, base salary plus incentives, and potential equity awards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Active NMLS loan originator with state licenses or a loan originator under a federal bank license.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Georgia.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in either high-volume phone-based sales or agent-centric referral models.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and with Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels, productivity metrics and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM and LOS to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
• Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain active licensing and ongoing professional development.
