Job summary

Zillow Group’s Zillow Home Loans team is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers in Zillow’s ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from initial contact through funding, in either a high-volume digital setting or a relationship-driven model, with a strong emphasis on performance metrics.

This remote role requires residency in Utah; occasional office time may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Utah.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume, phone-based or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
• Comfortable in a structured, KPI-driven environment with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and local partners.
