Job summary

Zillow Home Loans is recruiting a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from first contact through funding, in a role that may be high-volume, digitally driven or relationship-based, depending on strengths.

The position emphasizes responsiveness, execution, and performance in a structured, metrics-driven environment, backed by Zillow’s brand and scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage LO Test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and with Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels and productivity metrics.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
