Job summary

Zillow Home Loans is hiring a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers within Zillow's ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from application through funding in a structured, metrics-driven environment and may operate in either a high-volume, phone-based setting or a relationship-driven, market-focused model.

This is a remote role with Nevada as your principal residence and occasional office opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with purchase focus.
• Completion of CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Test.
• Nevada residency and remote work eligibility.
• Proven success in high-volume phone-based sales or referral models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans via proactive follow-up.
• Build relationships with customers and local partners.
• Maintain active pipeline; meet service levels and KPIs.
• Leverage CRM, LOS, and MS Office to manage pipeline health.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting and closing teams.
• Deliver high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends, programs, and regulatory requirements.
