Job summary

Zillow Home Loans, part of Zillow Group, is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate loans for customers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from first contact through funding, in a structured, metrics-driven environment with access to CRM, LOS, and central teams.

This remote role requires residency in Pennsylvania and offers incentive compensation as part of total earnings, along with equity awards depending on performance and location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions, either as an active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Pennsylvania.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in either: a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents.
• Manage an active pipeline with defined service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM and LOS to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text.
