Citizens in New Jersey is seeking a Treasury Relationship Manager to support municipal and public-sector clients, growing treasury relationships and offering comprehensive working capital and treasury solutions across New Jersey and surrounding markets.

The role partners with Government Relationship Managers to expand government banking portfolios, with focus on cash management, commercial card, and trade/supply chain finance, while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of Treasury Services sales and relationship management experience.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, commercial card, merchant services, and trade/supply chain finance solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with municipal finance directors and other senior officials.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally to support client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal government and public-sector clients and prospects, delivering treasury solutions that optimize cash flow, liquidity, and operations.
• Achieve annual goals through new client acquisition and expansion of government banking portfolios across New Jersey and adjacent markets.
• Partner with Government Relationship Managers to position Treasury Services early and cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide leadership and market insights to support municipalities’ evolving treasury needs.
• Coordinate with product, service, and implementation teams to ensure seamless onboarding and end-to-end client experience.
• Provide market feedback to support growth and differentiation in government banking.
