Job summary

GovWorx is seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist to join the Technical Implementation and Customer Support teams. This remote (U.S.-based) role combines remote technical work with occasional on-site field engineering to support ECCs in connecting their systems to GovWorx solutions.

You will work with customers' IT teams to ensure successful integration of telephony audio, CAD systems, and related technologies into our secure cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT, telecom, or systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on telephony and voice systems experience (VoIP, SIP, RTP).
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, QoS).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production system/network/audio issues.
• Experience working with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain integrations between customer telephony/audio systems, CAD platforms, and GovWorx applications.
• Collaborate with PSAP/ECC staff, vendors, and admins to ensure installation and data flow.
• Troubleshoot audio, SIP signaling, and network issues across distributed systems.
• Diagnose and resolve real-time streaming and voice quality issues using logs and packet captures.
• Assist with hardware setup for audio or data ingestion.
• Coordinate with GovWorx teams to deliver smooth deployments and strong customer experiences.
• Work with third-party vendors during integrations and issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel up to 20% as needed.
