Job summary

GovWorx, Inc. is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to contribute across the software development lifecycle—from design and architecture to development, testing, and peer review—while delivering secure, scalable solutions for public safety platforms.

U.S. citizenship is required, and the role includes FBI background checks. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software experience with .NET or Java, React or Angular, AWS, APIs, and relational databases in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in software development.
Expertise in .NET and/or Java (Spring Boot experience a major plus).
Experience with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience writing and documenting public & private APIs.
Experience with Amazon Web Services and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
OpenSearch/Redshift are a major plus.
Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states

Responsibilities

Software Design & Architecture: Produce architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
Software Development: Write code across the full stack and develop automated tests (Unit, integration, Selenium/Playwright).
Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams including engineering and customer success.
