Job summary

BetterHelp in the United States offers a part-time, independent contractor (1099) telepsychiatry opportunity. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care remotely, conducting video visits and prescribing when appropriate.

You must hold an active MD/DO license in good standing and have at least one year of licensed Psychiatrist experience, with strong communication skills and comfort using online tools.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Experience prescribing medication when clinically appropriate.
• Confidence using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality care while upholding BetterHelp's clinical and service standards.
• Share feedback with BetterHelp's product, engineering, and operations teams to help improve the provider and patient experience.
