BetterHelp is seeking licensed psychiatrists to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care entirely remotely. This part-time, independent contractor (1099) role offers flexible scheduling and remote patient care through the telemedicine platform.

One year of experience and an active MD/DO license are required, with the ability to prescribe medications where appropriate. Strong communication and tech comfort are essential to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• Active MD/DO medical license in good standing.
• Experience prescribing medication where clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.
• Confidence using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care via telemedicine.
• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients remotely.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe when appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Share feedback to improve provider and patient experience.
