Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking licensed psychiatrists to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care entirely remotely. This part-time, independent contractor (1099) role offers flexible scheduling and the ability to deliver care to insured patients via BetterHelp's telemedicine platform.

You will conduct video visits, assess and treat patients, and coordinate with a network of therapists. Prior experience with prescribing medications and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatrist with an active MD/DO license.
• At least one year of licensed clinical experience.
• Experience prescribing medications when appropriate and permitted by state law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Coordinate treatment planning with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver high-quality care while upholding clinical standards.
