BetterHelp is seeking licensed psychiatrists to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care entirely online. You’ll conduct video consultations, assess and prescribe when appropriate, and develop individualized treatment plans from a remote setting.

This part-time, independent contractor role offers flexible hours, a patient-centered approach, and support for credentialing and payer enrollment to expand access to insured patients nationwide.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• Active MD/DO medical license in good standing.
• Experience prescribing medication when clinically appropriate.
• Confidence using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsabilités

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality care while upholding BetterHelp's clinical and service standards.
• Share feedback with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve provider and patient experience.
