BetterHelp is a technology-enabled mental health marketplace providing psychiatric care remotely through its telehealth platform. This part-time, independent contractor (1099) position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to deliver care to insured patients.

You will conduct video consultations, assess and diagnose, and prescribe medications when appropriate. A valid MD/DO license and at least one year of psychiatric experience are required.

Formación

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• An active MD/DO medical license in good standing.
• Experience prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law.
• Confidence using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality care while upholding BetterHelp's clinical and service standards.
• Share feedback with BetterHelp's product, engineering, and operations teams to help improve the provider and patient experience.
