Job summary

BetterHelp in the United States is seeking licensed psychiatrists to provide virtual care via our telemedicine platform on a part-time, independent contractor (1099) basis.

You will conduct video consultations, assess and treat patients, prescribe medications when appropriate, and coordinate with our network of therapists while upholding clinical standards.

This remote role offers a flexible schedule, credentialing and enrollment support, and the ability to expand access to mental healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatrist with active MD/DO license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience as licensed Psychiatrist.
• Experience prescribing medications when clinically appropriate.
• Comfort using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality care while upholding BetterHelp's clinical and service standards.
• Share feedback with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve provider and patient experience.
