Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager in Oregon to advance provider performance, education, and reporting for Medicare Advantage. You will work with care providers, drive Stars/HEDIS initiatives, and lead program implementation while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, data-driven improvement, and managing provider relationships across networks.

Qualifications

5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
3+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or for a provider's office.
1+ years of STARs experience.
Microsoft Office specialist with advanced Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
Weekly commitment of 60% travel for meetings and 40% remote work.

Responsibilities

Meet with providers to discuss UHG tools and programs to improve quality for Medicare Advantage members.
Lead provider incentive programs for the health plan.
Build long-term consultative relationships with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs.
Develop provider-specific plans to increase HEDIS performance and outcomes.
Provide education, coaching and reporting to provider groups on programs.
Coordinate Stars-specific meetings to drive process improvement.
Report progress to health plan leadership on performance and gap closure.
Lead ad hoc projects and sprints to improve Star ratings.
