Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to lead program implementation and provider performance management. The role involves education, reporting, and proactive identification of improvement opportunities with providers to enhance HEDIS/STAR outcomes.

Located in Oregon, you will have the flexibility to work remotely while traveling up to 60% of the time and coordinating with health plan leadership to drive performance and measure improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or for a provider's office.
• 1+ years of STARs experience.
• Microsoft Office specialist with exceptional analytical and data representation expertise; Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
• Demonstrated solid communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated solid relationship building skills with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Function independently, travel across assigned territory to meet with providers to discuss tools and programs.
• Execute applicable provider incentive programs for health plan.
• Establish positive, long-term consultative relationships with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs.
• Develop provider-specific plans to increase HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Provide ongoing strategic recommendations, training and coaching to provider groups on program implementation.
