Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to drive provider performance, education, and reporting across Medicare Advantage initiatives. You will build relationships with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs while coordinating with internal teams to improve HEDIS and STARs outcomes.

Role requires extensive travel, strong communication, and ability to lead strategic provider engagements, with remote flexibility in Hawaii and some in-office work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience with a health plan and/or a provider's office.
• 1+ year of STARs experience.
• Proven solid communication and presentation skills.
• Proven solid relationship building with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Meet with providers to discuss tools and programs to improve Medicare Advantage care.
• Execute provider incentive programs for health plans.
• Develop provider-specific plans to increase HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Provide ongoing strategic recommendations, training and coaching to provider groups on program implementation.
• Coordinate internal resources to provide provider education, coaching and consultation.
• Lead Stars-specific meetings with provider groups to drive process improvements.
• Report progress to health plan leadership on performance and gap closure.
• Collaborate with plan leadership on ad hoc projects and sprints.
