Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to drive program implementation and provider performance management across Medicare Advantage networks. You will collaborate with care providers to educate, report, and identify performance improvements, using Stars measures and Optum program administration.

Role involves meeting providers to discuss tools and programs, establishing long-term relationships, and leading education and coaching to achieve improved HEDIS STAR outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or for a provider's office.
• 1+ years of STARs experience.
• Microsoft Office specialist with exceptional analytical and data representation expertise; Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
• Demonstrated solid communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated solid relationship building skills with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Meet with providers across assigned territory to discuss UHG tools and programs.
• Execute applicable provider incentive programs for health plan.
• Establish positive, long-term consultative relationships with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs.
• Develop provider-specific plans to increase HEDIS performance and improve outcomes.
• Provide ongoing strategic recommendations, training and coaching to provider groups on program implementation and barrier resolution.
• Coordinate and lead Stars-specific meetings to drive process improvement and goals.
• Provide reporting to health plan leadership on progress of performance and gap closure.
