Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to lead program implementation and provider performance management, focusing on STARs gap closure and coding accuracy. Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or a provider's office.
• 1+ years of STARs experience.
• Microsoft Office specialist with advanced Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
• Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated strong relationship-building skills with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Weekly travel 60% and 40% remote work.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Travel across territory to discuss UHG tools and programs with providers to improve Medicare Advantage quality.
• Execute provider incentive programs for health plan.
• Establish long-term consultative relationships with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs.
• Develop provider-specific plans to improve HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Provide ongoing education and coaching to provider groups on program implementation.
• Lead Stars training, related measures and plan administration.
• Coordinate and lead Stars-specific meetings to drive process improvements.
• Provide progress reports to health plan leadership on performance and gap closure.
• Collaborate with plan leadership on initiatives and campaigns to improve quality.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and sprints to boost star ratings.
• Prepare reports and materials for leadership and stakeholders.
