Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to drive provider performance across Medicare Advantage programs. You will partner with physicians, medical groups, IPAs and ACOs to close STAR gaps, improve coding accuracy, and deliver education and reporting that enhances patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience with a health plan or provider's office.
• 1+ year of STARs experience.
• Proven solid communication and presentation skills.
• Proven solid relationship building with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Weekly commitment of 60% travel with some remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement provider performance improvement plans with focus on STARs and HEDIS.
• Build and maintain effective education and reporting for care providers.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement via data analysis and SME input.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Network contracts, Analytics, Medical Directors) to drive results.
• Lead provider incentive programs and quarterly performance reviews.
• Provide regular progress reporting to health plan leadership.
• Coordinate Stars-specific meetings and action planning with providers.
