Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a remote-based field sales professional to drive revenue for the Protein Diagnostics Division, covering New York City and Long Island. You will develop strategic plans, manage key accounts, and help customers advance clinical and laboratory goals through a mix of in-person visits and virtual engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 3 years of sales experience preferred; capital sales experience advantageous.
• Experience in laboratory, medical device or diagnostics sales preferred.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
• Strong consultative, strategic selling and negotiation skills.
• CRM proficiency, especially Salesforce; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase test utilization and expand test menus.
• Grow oncology and special protein market share by winning competitive business.
• Collaborate with Area Sales Manager and Key Account Manager to meet objectives.
• Manage demonstrations and support customers through evaluation.
• Lead contract renewals focusing on retention and growth.
• Maintain accurate account and sales activity in Salesforce.
