Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive commercial growth across the US East Coast. The role is fully remote based in the New Jersey or Maryland areas, focusing on expanding relationships within pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic accounts.

You will combine scientific expertise with consultative sales skills to deliver proteomics solutions, manage opportunities in CRM, and travel as needed for meetings and conferences to advance business development goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Commercial business development or sales experience within a clinical CRO, diagnostics services, or life sciences services environment.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery, translational research, and the drug development process.
• Ability to bridge scientific discussions with commercial objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic regional business plan to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Identify, prioritize, and cultivate key pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic accounts across the territory.
• Expand existing customer relationships and uncover new opportunities across therapeutic areas and all stages of the drug development lifecycle.
• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, customer visits, scientific conferences, roadshows, and institutional presentations.
