Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
• 5+ years of experience in protection & control projects for utility customers
• Ability to read, correctly interpret, and apply electrical one‑lines, schematics
• PE License in California is required
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US for ABB

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering design activities for substation protection & control/automation systems
• Develop engineering documentation and perform analyses (schematics, logic diagrams, layouts, BOMs, reports, calculations)
• Manage project materials, construction design packages, and technical issue resolution
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
