Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Proposal Developer to join the Proposal Department within our Commercialization & Growth unit, supporting Water & Environment LifeLine pursuits. You will manage proposal development, from planning to final submissions, blending writing, editing, and graphic design to win work.

This hands-on role combines proposal management with content creation and visual design, requiring coordination with Sales, Technical Services, and project teams. Remote, US-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing proposals in architecture, engineering, and construction or related professional services.
• Demonstrated technical writing, editing, and proofreading with input from SMEs.
• Graphic design and document production experience including layouts and graphics that explain technical information.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and strong Word/PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage RFQ/RFP/proposal responses from planning through submission and interview prep.
• Research, write, and edit proposal content with SMEs; translate engineering concepts into clear content.
• Design proposal layouts, presentations, and visuals; manage document assembly and submission.
• Lead interview prep, including slides, rehearsals, and messaging; coordinate with leadership for coaching.
