Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Lead Proposal Developer to join the Proposal Department within our Commercialization & Growth unit, supporting Water & Environment LifeLine pursuits. You will lead complex proposals and shortlist interviews while strengthening proposal practices across the department and enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, English, journalism, marketing, graphic design or related field.
• 7+ years in proposal development/management in AEC or related tech services.
• Proven writing, editing, proofreading, and graphic design expertise.
• Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat; strong MS Word/PowerPoint; basic Excel/Teams/SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of structured proposal development, compliance and color reviews; Shipley process experience.
• Experience mentoring teams and leading process/content/tool improvements.
• Authorization to work permanently in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex proposals and interviews from planning through submission and interviews.
• Develop win themes and outlines; translate strategy into content and plans.
• Create and manage compliance matrices, schedules, and assignments.
• Guide strategy sessions and color reviews; drive issue resolution.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external partners on pursuits.
• Lead interview strategy, storytelling, rehearsals, and client-focused messaging.
• Write, edit, and design executive summaries, narratives, and graphics.
• Oversee version control, approvals, and final production to meet solicitations.
