Job summary

MMS Holdings Inc is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the creation of compelling CRO proposals, including budgeting, pricing, and coordinating inputs from subject matter experts and business development. The role emphasizes process improvement, record-keeping, and client-focused solutions.

The candidate should have 3–6 years of CRO experience in proposals and a strong foundation in scientific data, budgeting, and MS Office tools, with familiarity in Ariba/Workday for client systems.

Qualifications

• Requires CRO industry knowledge and understanding of scientific/clinical data and drug development.
• 3–6 years’ CRO experience in proposals, pricing, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, finance, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Highly proficient in organizing and maintaining records related to proposals and contracts using CRM and SharePoint; compliant with records retention.
• Ability to map budgets into client grids and use client systems such as Ariba or Workday.
• Strong prioritization to deliver timely outcomes for internal/external customers.
• Experience in authoring and managing complex proposals.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Interpret and assess RFPs/RFIs and craft responses that differentiate MMS’s offering.
• Coordinate with Business Development leads and SMEs to form an operational strategy.
• Coordinate with SMEs to address sponsor questions and concerns.
• Collect specs from SMEs and build a budget outlining deliverables, pricing, resources, and timelines.
• Support proposal and pricing defenses to Sponsors and internal approvers.
• Improve the proposal/budget development process using technology to ensure quality and clear communication.
• Maintain internal proposal and response libraries.
