Job summary

Travelers is seeking a remote Claims Representative, Outside Property, to manage, inspect, evaluate and settle 1st party property claims across the assigned territory. You will perform in-person inspections at residences when needed and coordinate with insureds, claimants and vendors to resolve claims promptly and professionally.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 1 year property claims experience or completion of Travelers training, and an active adjuster license where applicable;

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
• 1 year property claim experience or completion of Travelers training program.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and document 1st party property claims with limited supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants and vendors.
• Investigate and evaluate facts; determine coverage and scope of damages.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
