Job summary

Reserv is an insurtech focused on AI and automation for claims, seeking a Property Claims Manager in the United States. The role leads Property Claim Team Leads and their desk adjusters across diverse accounts, driving operational effectiveness through technology and analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in insurance claims, Property Claims preferred
• 3+ years management experience, remote environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or related field; CPCU/AIC a plus
• Technology-savvy with ability to evolve systems and processes to drive efficiency
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling information

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Property Claim Team Leads who manage teams of desk Property Claim adjusters across diverse accounts
• Achieve or exceed goals and overcome obstacles
• Implement and maintain best practices for handling, including evaluation and settlement
• Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for process improvement
• Align team with client and customer expectations of the loss and what to expect throughout the process
• Serve as a resource for escalations
• Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of reserving
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraud and ensure regulatory compliance
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional growth and development
• Execute on performance management; attract, hire, retain and provide high level of training
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Account Management, Compliance, and Claim Operations, to resolve complex or escalated loss-related issues
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives
