Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Inside Property Claims Adjuster in the United States to investigate, negotiate, and resolve property losses via phone and remote channels.

Role covers personal and commercial property, including ALE, contents, business income, and scheduled property. You will coordinate with contractors, maintain licensing, and contribute to catastrophe response while hitting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Experience as an inside property claims specialist or equivalent in insurance.
• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement techniques.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial property products, policy coverage, and claims procedures.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses within six months of hire.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with policyholders, agents, contractors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property losses (personal and commercial), including ALE and business income.
• Communicate with policyholders by phone and other channels, explaining claim decisions.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for inspections and expertise.
• Assist valuation tasks, contents depreciation calculations, and settlements.
• Maintain compliance and thorough documentation throughout the claim life cycle.
• Meet productivity targets for claim elements per month.
• Support catastrophe claims across the service territory as needed.
• Collaborate across teams with agents, underwriting, and marketing.
