Travelers is seeking a Claim Rep, Outside Property, to manage and settle 1st party property claims across a territory including Binghamton, NY. The role involves on-site inspections, in-depth documentation, and customer-focused service with opportunities to develop licensing and aviation certifications as needed.

The position offers remote work with travel, a comprehensive benefits program, and a compensation range reflecting nationwide market rates for this level of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of property claim experience.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under limited supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and third-party vendors.
• Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts and information; determine coverage for property damages.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses; support estimates.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, representatives, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate with multiple constituents with guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim systems.
• Acquire/maintain necessary Insurance License or UAS Remote Pilot Certification within 3 months.
• May require extensive travel to support customers across locations.
