Job summary

V3 Companies is seeking a Project Surveyor to support career-defining projects in surveying and civil layout. This fully remote opportunity spans multiple US states, with a focus on coordinating CAD tasks, ALTA and boundary surveys, and producing accurate surface models for field crews.

You will read civil, architectural, and structural drawings to ensure precise construction layouts, prepare field-ready documents, and collaborate with a large team of designers, engineers, and scientists across

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
• Degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, and structural drawings and interpret for construction layout.
• Communicate with clients and create work orders for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Work independently with little instruction.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.
