Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Technician to support field crews and project managers in producing precise survey deliverables. You will transform field data into AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and prepare ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys, while contributing to LiDAR processing and quality control.

The role supports a geospatial team involved in civil and infrastructure projects across power, DOT and municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Survey/Civil profession required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• OpenRoads Designer experience required.
• Railroad and/or DOT experience preferred.
• LiDAR/LiDAR scanning experience a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected drafting assignments quickly and accurately.
• Transform field data into Autodesk Civil 3D drawings.
• Produce ALTA, Boundary, Topographic surveys and maps.
• Reduce field notes to survey/civil base maps.
• LiDAR calibration, classification and quality control.
• Photogrammetric processing of aerial imagery.
