Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Survey CAD Technician II to join our team remotely in TX.

This role supports preparation of project deliverables and contract documents, working with senior staff to learn and apply design standards across ALTA, topographic, and boundary surveys. You will convert data into professional drawings, perform stakeout computations, and draft survey documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements while contributing to a collaborative,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• Three+ years of survey and/or CAD experience in land development/land survey.
• Knowledge of basic design concepts and technical calculations.
• Surveyor-in-Training certificate preferred; licensure a plus.
• Proficiency with Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, convert information into electronically generated drawings and project documents with accuracy.
• Compute horizontal positions for stakeouts and analyze field location data.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Check record plats for completeness and accuracy prior to review.
• Submit plots to county for review and gain knowledge of ALTA/Topographic surveys.
• Perform complex computations for traverse, boundary surveys, and construction stakeouts.
• May complete land development, ALTA, topographic surveys, and subdivision layout work.
