Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Manager AFM to lead complex engineering projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will own the customer relationship, coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality and logistics, and develop project plans to meet targets. Travel may be required; hybrid work options available in Buffalo, NY; Medina, OH; or Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management within engineering/heavy industrial/construction sectors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex customer accounts.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial aspects of project management (margin, variance, cash flow).

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Own the customer relationship as the primary point of contact, driving communication strategy and safeguarding satisfaction.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to align with objectives and targets.
• Lead project execution with milestone tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time delivery and margin protection.
