Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of medium-size Electrification Service Division projects. You will guide the project team, ensure adherence to procedures, regulations, and contracts, and deliver contracted deliverables on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include defining execution approaches, monitoring progress, managing risk, and driving contract close-out with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Field; up to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Project management experience required; PMP is nice to have.
• Strong communicator and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiar with SAP and standard MS Office tools; reading engineering drawings required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establish execution approach, and oversee planning, monitoring and control.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, regulations, standards, specs and targets.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks; pursue opportunities.
• Drive formal acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement.
