Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Project Manager to lead deployment projects and collaborate with customers and Fortra consultants through the entire deployment lifecycle.

You will translate customer objectives into project activity, manage requirements, and deliver solutions with a strong emphasis on communication, risk management, and on-time delivery. Flexible work arrangements support professional development and a balanced life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Similar Work Experience is required or equivalent.
• Formal Project Management certification such as PMP/Prince2/APM/ITIL Transition is required.
• Minimum of 2 years leading multi-phased projects, ideally transitioning customers to service in a matrix environment.
• Minimum of 3 years in customer service/facing industries.
• Proven experience managing complex, dynamic projects and adapting to roadblocks.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate requirements and modify solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships inside/outside Fortra.
• Dedication to customer service and risk/urgency management.

Responsibilities

• Manage ~20 deployment projects with varying scope across customers.
• Define project scope and goals with detailed plans to achieve them.
• Lead project delivery to ensure on-time, high-quality deployment for customers and Fortra.
• Coordinate internal and external consultant teams to meet project goals.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and regular progress reporting.
• Build strong customer relationships to ensure outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain project controls for risks, dependencies, scope, actions and schedule.
• Learn Fortra products to train customers on best-use scenarios.
• Predict risks, capture issues promptly and use escalation paths for success.
• Aim for utilization target of 85%+ and travel <5%.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
