Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Project Management Consultant to lead clinical data software implementations with focus on timelines, budgets, deliverables, and customer adoption. The role requires meticulous organization and collaboration across Data Management, IT, and QA teams, with typical hours Monday–Friday 9–5 and flexibility per client needs.

You will manage project teams, allocate resources, and track risks, delivering regular progress reports and executive summaries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of software implementation experience.
• 2+ years in the Life Sciences industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional team members and customers to understand Clinical Data requirements.
• Develop timelines according to deliverables in contracted statements of work.
• Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and budgets using Jira, Smartsheet, etc.
• Manage project teams, resource allocation, and cross-functional workstreams.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Deliver regular progress reports and executive summaries.
• Oversee third-party software vendors and integration partners.
• Coordinate with DM, IT, Programmers, Statisticians, QA on software lifecycles.
• Collaborate to develop end-user training and change management materials.
• Oversee transition from deployment to post-implementation support.
